Get Back to where you once belonged!!  If you are tired of the everyday sports bar that seem to be popping up everywhere with loud TV's and customers and want a southern meal served the old fashioned way, then the Smokehouse is your restaurant.  We have two dining areas that allow for casual dining and a separate bar area that have big screen TVs for the sports fan.

An independent family owned restaurant, the Carolina Smokehouse Grill is a new restaurant concept for the North Raleigh, Wake Forest area. Time tested BBQ entrees, steaks and seafood  with old fashion Southern Sides at reasonable prices all set in a casual/upscale setting. Perfect for the entire family. 

Our menu is unique yet very familar. For the BBQ lovers, our menu offers Brisket, Eastern NC chopped BBQ, St. Louis style Pork Spare Ribs, Shrimp and Grits, Smoked Shrimp, Skilllet Baked Mac and Cheese and with our concept, we believe that smoked meats can create any entree.  The Smokehouse Trio is an great example.  Smoked chicken, sausauge and shrimp in a slightly spicy cream sauce served over penne pasta.  It has become a customer favorite!

And for the beef lovers, we have Ribeye or NY strip steak or a 9 oz Sirloin.  For the seafood lovers, we have salmon, tilapia, and calabash style catfish.  We also provide our own twist on our sandwiches  using fried green tomatoes and in-house made tomato relish on the sandwiches.  The brisket burger is also a customer favorite.

Everything is made in-house. And yes, we serve real BBQ spare ribs, NOT the fast food Baby Back variety. Our ribs are large and fat, perfect for slow smokin. We encourage the use of your fingers and not silverware!

Our side dishes include collards, mac and cheese, bourbon baked beans, garlic mashed potatoes, fried okra,  sweet potato fries and many other southern favorites.

For dessert, we specialize in cobblers. We have peach and berry cobblers topped with vanilla ice cream. Also try our home made key lime pie, or banana pudding.

Our Mac and Cheese was awarded Wral.com's Five Fav's as well. We also offer MAC and Cheese as an entree with our skillet baked Mac and Cheese. Ours is made with fresh shredded cheddar, heavy cream, bacon and pork "drippins" and then we add fresh broccoli. It is topped with your choice of chicken or shrimp and our own tomato relish.

Every Monday and Tuesday, we have $2 bottle beers and 1/2 price apps in the bar area.  In the dining area, all of the platters (2 or more bbq options) are $13.99
