A new restaurant concept for the Raleigh area. We not only offer great slow smoked BBQ, Ribs, Brisket and Chicken but also offer great Prime Steaks and Seafood at reasonable prices. All set in a casual/upscale environment perfect for the entire family.
Owner Matt Naugle, retired from the Internet community in 2002 after working on it for 21 years. From there he started the Dockside marina in Lake Gaston, NC where he entered the restaurant business by starting The WatersView Restaurant in 2006. Following the success of that restaurant, he came back to his home town in Raleigh, and started the Carolina Smokehouse Grill, with great help from his friend Chef Bob Passerilli. Thanks Bob!
Our Executive Chef, Elliott Davis, graduated Le Cordon Bleu London in 1998. Since that time, he has worked for notable chef Todd English in Myrtle Beach, SC. as well as other areas including North Palm Beach Florida and Washington, D.C.
He enjoys all types of cuisines and is now returning to his family culinary beginnings where he grew up with southern cooking and is directing that family knowledge towards Southern Comfort food here at the Smokehouse!
